There are many ways to get involved this holiday season within the community. This week we are featuring Wrapping For Rescues!
Wrapping for Rescues involves awesome volunteers taking some of the holiday stress away and wrapping your presents for you. Just provide the presents to be wrapped! The proceeds and donations from this awesome event will go to Carolina Big Hearts Big Barks rescue to help save dogs that are in need of rescue. In addition to monetary donations, dog supplies such as food, harness, collars, leashes, toys, treats and potty pads are also needed. Help a dog find their forever home this holiday season!
This event will take place three dates: December 8, December 15, and December 22. The wrapping will start at 10am at Karma Boutique & Coffee Bar. For more information check out the event’s Facebook page.
Another reminder of upcoming events include the Christmas Tree and Train Lighting at Depot Park tonight (December 7) at 6pm! This event has now expand to include local vendors for a Christmas Market. Karma Boutique & Coffee Bar is also hosting The Polar Express Story Time Saturday, December 15, 2pm-5pm! Check out last week’s article for more details.
