It’s almost February, and things are getting galactic in Sanford this weekend! As always there are a number of unique events happening this weekend.
As always, there is great local music to be heard downtown. Tonight, January 31 at 8:30 pm, be the moon will be performing at The Smoke And Barrel.
be the moon is a four-piece Americana/Folk Rock band which draws influence from artists such as The Avett Brothers, John Prine and Tom Petty. Band members Elliott Humphries, Adam Shaw, Freddie Alderman, and Josh Feldman bring energy, sincerity and raw talent to each of their shows. Then on Saturday, February 1 at 10:00 am, Lee County Libraries will be hosting “All Things NASA with Dan Combs.” At this event you will hear from NASA Ambassador Dan Combs about the latest news and discoveries from NASA. The event is free to attend and refreshments will be provided, just head down to the library auditorium at 10:00 am to learn something new!
