The Chocolate Cellar opened on the corner of N Steele and Carthage St in Summer of 2018 by Sanford native Laura Phelps and her daughter Carol.
Their broad selection of signature truffles includes eccentric limited time flavors such as Bacon Bonbon along with classics such as Peanut Butter and Cappuccino. Carol believe that eating chocolate should be an experience, which is part of why they hold a wine pairing event on the first Saturday of every month.
The Chocolate Cellar is committed to using ethically traded, high quality ingredients to create chocolates that are a cut above the rest!
The Chocolate Cellar is located at 110 Carthage St and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. If you are looking to buy chocolates for Valentines day, make sure to pre-order by calling 919-292-1090 to avoid the rush.
