Springing Forward With Sanford’s Amazing Artists

Since the beginning of 2019, Welcome To Sanford has been pleased to introduce our readers and our community at-large to some of the most talented and popular artists in the area.

Our weekly Artist of the Week feature has become one of the most-popular and most-anticipated things we do! Of course for long-time residents and history students of the City of Sanford, it’s well-known that we have an amazing quantity and quality of artists who call the area home. And it’s been that way for several decades.

With the area’s long-standing pottery and clay arts community, the vibrant collection of active painters that run the gamut from landscape, portrait and still-life to impressionist and abstract, and of course the area’s live music and performance scene that seems to grow stronger by the minute, there’s plenty of information to share about these amazing local artists. This week we’ll take a step back and shine our spotlight again on the artists we’ve featured over the past 3 months. Many of the artists that we’ve been privileged to honor this spring are active members of the Sanford Brush & Palette Club.

Simply click on the links of each artist below to learn more and to appreciate their artistry.
