We hope everyone has enjoyed this week of Valentine’s Day fun. This week we are featuring some upcoming events that you will want to mark on your calendar.
On Saturday, February 23, Lee County Sponsorship for Children will be hosting a Teddy Bear Breakfast. During the breakfast there will be crafts, snacks, and music. Children from birth to 5 (and siblings) can bring their teddy bear to participate with them in several project based learning opportunities. The breakfast will take place 9am-11am at Lee County Cooperative Extension, 2420 Tramway Rd, Sanford NC 27332.
Quarters for CARA is a quarter auction that will be taking place Sunday, February 24 at Stevens Center Sanford. This will be a fun family event where you will bring a couple rolls of quarters to bid (1-4 quarters) on prizes. There will be lots of excellent prizes and products to bin on that will benefit the animals at Carolina Animal Rescue & Adoption. All guest tables will be provided with snacks and drinks compliments of the vendors. Come out for a fun afternoon of prizes, raffles, vendors to shop at, and a 50/50 auction. The event will take place 3pm-6pm.
