If you’re like many of our regular readers (and us too!), you’ve come to really enjoy and look forward to our newest feature … The Welcome To Sanford Artist of the Week. Most long-time residents have an awareness and an appreciation for the amazing quantity and quality of artists who call Sanford and Lee County home. With the area’s long-standing pottery and clay arts community, the vibrant collection of active painters that run the gamut from landscape, portrait and still-life to impressionist and abstract, and of course the area’s live music and performance scene that seems to grow stronger by the minute, there’s plenty of information to share about these amazing local artists.
This week seems like a good opportunity to take a step back and to revisit the accomplishments and talents of the individuals we’ve been proud to feature during the first 3 months of our column. We invite you to click on the links of each artist below to learn more and to appreciate their artistry.
