Families sometimes travel a long distance on summer vacation, but there is a local destination just outside Sanford’s city limits that offers a different type of transportation … back to the Wild West of over a century ago.
Circle M City, located just off Center Church Road in western Lee County, is the vision of Tim Marsh, a fourth generation cowboy. He’s set aside about 4 acres from his large family farm to construct roughly 30 buildings with an old west theme. This cowboy community is filled with fun and adventures for folks of all ages and comes complete with a church, bank, saloon, blacksmith shop, horse stables and old west museum. It’s a perfect place for birthday parties, family reunions, special events and even weddings!
Circle M City also has riding stables, and offers horseback riding lessons and activities for summer camps. The entire family can also enjoy musical events, including the Monday Music Jam sessions. Visit the Circle M City website or call 919-499-8493 to find out about upcoming attractions.
