Light It Up This Halloween

This week for Fall Fun-Day Friday we are featuring a fun 5k and a Halloween hayride and light show you don’t want to miss!

Broken Plow Farm presents their annual Lights of Halloween starting October 5th! Bring the little ghouls and goblins of your family out for a kid friendly hayride around the farm. You will enjoy a 30 minute hayride with lighted Halloween displays and a special light show at the end. They are running this fun festive show every Friday and Saturday during the month of October. Tickets are $9 for ages 2 years or older. Ticket sales being at 6:00pm with hayrides starting around 7:00pm. There will be a food truck available on certain dates! Keep an eye out on their Facebook page for more information. It is noted that they are only accepting cash at this time. 

On October 6th, Coalition for Families in Lee County is hosting the Jacket 5k Run & Walk. Proceeds will benefit the CCH Auxiliary Breast Cancer Comfort Care Fund. The cost of the race is $25 through October 5th and will be $30 day of race. The race will be located at Lee County High School. Click here for more details and to register.
