Library Family Fun

The last weekend in February has arrived!

To start out our upcoming events, Chik-fil-a Sanford will be hosting an Action Hero Night tonight, February 22, from 5:30-7:30pm. Bring all your dressed up action hero fans for a night of action hero games, face painting, and pictures taken with a special guest.

Next Thursday, February 28th, Lee County Libraries will be hosting their Family Movie Night at the main library from 6pm-8pm. Family Movie Night is held on the fourth Thursday of every month. Bring your family, your friends, favorite pillow and blanket, and get ready to watch a new release film in the auditorium. A small snack will be served, but feel free to bring your own. Due to license restrictions, the title of the movie cannot be published online. To get more information on the movie, you can call the library at 919-718-4665.

The newest Lee County Library Escape Room, “The President is Missing”, has also just begun! From February 18 through March 1, you, your family, and friends can stop by the main library while it is open to see if you can solve the clues to locate the Commander in Chief.

We hope everyone enjoys their weekend and look forward to sharing new upcoming family events next week!
