Christmas has come and it’s almost time to start the new decade, but there’s still time to have fun in Sanford! There are a number of events happening for all age ranges, so let’s dive in!
First, the Smoke and Barrel will be having a concert with Britton Buchanan and the Brick City KO on New Years Eve from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am. There’s no cover charge, so come on down to the Smoke and Barrel for some food, drinks and lively music!
If that show is a little late for you, head down to the Temple Theater to see Tommy Edwards and the Bluegrass Experience at 8:00 pm. Tommy Edwards is a renowned guitarist and vocalist, and has twice been named World Champion Bluegrass Guitarist. He has released four albums with his band the Bluegrass Experience and four solo projects. Tickets are $20 and available online at Vendini or at the box office before the show.
Finally, if you prefer to do something a little more active, Kendale Bowling Alley will be having their annual New Year’s Eve Bash all evening from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am. Call 919-776-0729 to reserve your lane for your friends or family for $35 per person. This includes dinner from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, party favors, a midnight toast, and of course as much bowling as you can handle!
Whether you prefer a night on the town or a quiet evening alone or with loved ones, we at Welcome to Sanford hope you have an amazing New Year’s Eve and a wonderful start to 2020! Thank you for spending 2019 with us, and we hope you join us again in 2020!
