Honoring Veterans Through Arts & Culture

It’s Veterans day weekend, and as always there are many opportunities to appreciate the artists, musicians and performers of Sanford. Today we’ll be highlighting a few cultural events which honor those who fought for our community.

Today, November 8th, a new 2-act play will be opening at the Mann Center. Home for the Holidays tells the story of a wife hoping that her husband who is serving in WWII will make it home for Christmas, her husband who keeps his faith that God is always in control, the grandpa who struggles with the ghosts of his past and the kids who just want dad home. There will be shows at 7:00 PM on November 8th, 9th 15th and 16th with an additional early 2:00 PM show on the 16th.
