May is coming to a close, which means summer time is almost here! Sanford will be sure to offer fun family activities all summer long.
This Saturday is the first Saturday of the month, so that means Disco Bowling! Kendale Bowling Lanes will be hosting their monthly Disco Bowling Night on Saturday, June 1. From 8pm to 12am, bowlers can enjoy four hours of unlimited bowling. The cost for this event is $15 per person. Five people are allowed per lane.
Also taking place this Saturday, is a special educational crafting class at Hobby Lobby (3012 South Horner Boulevard). During The Catapillar’s Life Cycle, kids will learn about the life cycle of a caterpillar while making creative art. In addition to the crafting, there will also be a related book read. All the supplies will be provided. The class will take place from 3pm-4pm. The cost of the class is $12.
Father’s day is almost here and Lee County Libraries will be hosting a “Donuts with Dad” event on Saturday, Jun 8. From 10am to 12pm, the library will have donuts and a fun craft to do. All kids and Dads, step-dads and like-a-dads are invited to join. Registration is not required.
