2019 is here and we hope you are excited for all the new and same great things happening in Sanford this year!
This Saturday, January 5th Kendale Bowling Lanes is hosting a Disco Bowling Night. The cost for this event is $15 per person and will include 4 hours of unlimited bowling. Gather a group of friends and reserve a lane in advance. Each lane can hold 5 people. A doubles corn hole tournament will also be taking place. The Temple Theatre’s newest show is A Second Helping: The Church Basement Ladies Sequel. This show picks up the story in 1969 as the world is changing. Vietnam War protests are strong as well as women demanding equal pay for work. You’ll laugh as you watch the ladies of the church basement face many changes of their own. Does your family love games? Lee County Libraries is hosting Family Game Night on Thursday, January 10th. This is a free event at the Main Library and starts at 6pm. Bring your family to play traditional board games or BINGO! Registration is not required. Adult supervision is required for those under 13 years of age.
