CCCC Earns High Marks in NC Community College Rankings

A leading online evaluator of schools and communities has released its 2017 rankings of North Carolina community colleges and Central Carolina Community College has placed 4th out 58 colleges.

The Niche website uses a variety of metrics, such as economic value, student experience, professor evaluations and student feedback to assess the merits of all levels of schools, and cited CCCC as one of the Tar Heel state’s leading institutions of higher education.

According to a college news release, CCCC’s Vice President of Student Learning and Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Brian S, Merritt noted “Central Carolina is a world class, nationally-recognized leader in community college education. Our faculty and staff truly care about the success of our students, and our strong focus on improving student learning helps strengthen our local workforce. This is truly a special place.”
