Another Christmas has come and gone! We hope everyone had an excellent season of celebration with family and friends. This week we are featuring some family friendly events as well as a New Year’s Eve event taking place this weekend in Sanford!
Today, December 28th, Lee County Libraries presents A Gift of Movies! Come out to the library for a popular holiday movie in the auditorium during winter break! A small snack will be provided. Due to movie licensing regulations, the movie title cannot be published on social media. You can call 919-718-4665 or stop by the library for the title or more details. The movie will take place 2pm-3:30pm. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Lee County Libraries still has their Holiday Escape Room as well. Come try and break the codes! The escape room will be set up in the Teen Space at the Main Library December 31st. Drop in any time the library is open on those dates and see if you have what it takes to escape.
Kendale Bowling Lanes is hosting a fun New Year’s Eve event “Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Bash”. The cost for this event is $35 per person and will include dinner from 7pm until 9pm, unlimited bowling with music and party disco lights until midnight or later, party favors and more! Bowling lane reservations in advance are highly suggested. The full bar and covered heated patio will be available as well. Come have some fun and bowl in the new year!
