April is here! This month is sure to bring us excitement as we move into this sunny season.
If you have a future pre-kindergarten or kindergarten student, come out to the Superhero Luncheon sponsored by the Lee County Partnership for Children. This special event will take place this Saturday, April 6 from 11:00am-1:00pm in the Meadow of San Lee Park. Your family can enjoy story time, age appropriate games and activities, a cafeteria style lunch and more. The goal of this event is to give both children and their families information on what to expect in pre-K and kindergarten. It is asked that all who plan to attend register in advance. Nathaniel’s Hope will be hosting a Buddy Break this Saturday, April 6 from 3pm-6pm. If you are unfamiliar with Buddy Break, it is a free respite program for kids with special needs to make new friends and enjoy activities while their caregivers get a break. This special event will take place at Cool Springs Baptist Church. To register a VIP child and siblings, go to Nathaniel’s Hope website and create an account under the sign me up tab. Make sure to fill out the forms for your child. After filling out the forms, call the church (919-776-4633) to let them know your child will be attending.
