This weekend is all about the moms! With Mother’s Day on Sunday, there are several events taking place around Sanford in honor of all the great moms out there!
Lee County Libraries will be hosting Muffins with Moms Saturday, May 11, from 9am-11am at the main library. This event is ideal for younger children and their caregiver or parent. During this time, kids will be able to enjoy a muffin and juice with their parent, and then participate in a craft. For more information, call the library at 919-718-4665 ext. 5489 or 5484.
To keep the Mother’s Day celebrations going, Chick-fil-A Sanford and The Painted Petal will be hosting a Mother Daughter Paint night Tuesday, May 14, from 6pm-7pm. All ages are welcome. Each painter will paint one half of a butterfly, that way when they are put together they will have a complete butterfly. The cost for this event is $15.
