With the holiday weekend over, it’s time to see what else July has in store. This week’s Fun Friday article focuses on a community centered event that is free and open to the public.
Saturday, July 13, there will be a NNO Community Play Day at the Sanford Police Department. This play day is a free family event that will involve fun with Sanford’s police officers, fire fighters, EMS, and more. Tons of activities will be taking place for all ages. Families will find law games like giant Jenga and cornhole. In addition to these games, there will be first response vehicles and equipment from:
- Central Carolina Advance Life Support
- City of Sanford Public Works
- Duke Life Fight
- NC State Highway Patrol
- Sanford Police Department
- Sanford Fire Department
This event will take place from 9am-11am. Bring your friends and family to join the community for a day of fun and learn more about National Night Out.
