Over 450 CCCC Students Earn Medical Program Certifications

Central Carolina Community College’s ongoing role as a key provider of medical education in the community was in evidence again at the December 2016 graduation ceremonies of the Division of Economic and Community Development Continuing Education Medical Programs.

Over 450 students received certifications in a wide range of medical programs, including Cardiovascular Monitor Tech, Central Sterile Processing, Laboratory Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Nurse Aide I and II, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Physical Therapy Aide, and Sleep Disorders Technologist.

The Continuing Education Medical Programs are among over 130 programs offering degrees and certifications for residents of Lee County and the surrounding region.
