CCCC Ranks #1 In NC Community College Ratings

A popular online evaluation site which publishes annual evaluations of the nation’s community colleges has awarded Central Carolina Community College it’s top ranking among the state community colleges in its recently released report. Niche.com, which combines reviews & analysis to rank schools, employers and places to live, gave CCCC it’s highest marks among the state’s 58 community colleges.

Central Carolina Community College earned A’s and B’s in Niche’s 6 categories of evaluations, which included subjects such as Professors and Financial Value. The school generated over 250 reviews in the survey.  In one notable finding, 85% of student respondents agreed that “professors put a lot of effort into teaching their classes.” CCCC, which serves Lee, Harnett and Chatham Counties has been highly regarded school in the Niche surveys in recent years, including a top-5 statewide ranking in 2017. CCCC was ranked 84th nationwide and 1 of 2 state community colleges to place in the top 100.  1,229 schools were evaluated in total.

Justifiably, CCCC President Dr. Lisa Chapman is proud of the school’s recognition, noting that “CCCC understands our responsibility in helping our students successfully navigate our systems so they can effectively and efficiently achieve their career goals. I am honored to work every day with a great team that consistently strives to improve how we serve our students and our communities, and I appreciate the recognition of their good work.”
