One of the community’s most anticipated annual events, the Sanford Arts & Vine Festival, returns this year for a full day of beach music, arts, entertainment, craft beers, plenty of food trucks and more, on Saturday, May 12 at the Mann Center of North Carolina, in downtown Sanford.
The arts community is still a focal point, but this year’s festivities shift to a new location, a new format and a new charitable beneficiary. 3 legendary beach music acts, The Original Tams, The Embers featuring Craig Woolard, and the Chairmen of the Board will all take the Mann Festival outdoor stage, during an afternoon and evening full of music.
In addition to hall-of-fame caliber music, attendees will have exposure to local artisans, craft beer from Hugger Mugger Brewing Company, tasty eats from leading national and regional food trucks including Cousins Maine Lobster, as well as lots of family-friendly entertainment. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to the event’s host non-profit, the Mann Center of North Carolina, which is in the midst of a $30,000 fund raising campaign for renovations and technology upgrades to its Pomeranz Auditorium.
Gates open at 1pm and festivities run until 9pm. For advance tickets, VIP packages and more information, visit the Sanford Arts & Vine Festival website, and check the Arts & Vine Facebook page for the latest news and updates.
