5 Local Art Students Earn State-Wide Recognition

Five Lee County High School National Art Honor Society members have been selected to have their artwork be part of the North Carolina National Art Honor Society Traveling Exhibit.

The exhibit is comprised of works of art created by NAHS members from around the state. This year, 12 different high schools participated and 42 student works were selected.

The exhibit is currently on display at UNC Asheville and will make its way to several other stops during the school year including the Temple Theatre, here in Sanford.  Other exhibitions will take place at the Anson County Arts Council Gallery, The Red Gallery in Rolesville, The Gaddy-Hamrick Gallery at Meredith College and the NC Department of Public Instruction in Raleigh.

Congratulations Alexis Lloyd, Delaney Davenport, Emily Albertson, Brianna Crapo and Ashley Inman on your accomplishments!
